“THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) TO ADVANCE THE RELIGION OF ISLAM BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR ISLAMIC EDUCATION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TEACHINGS OF THE QURAN AND THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) AS INTERPRETED AND ACCEPTED BY THE AHLE-SUNNAH WAL-JAMAA-AH SCHOOL OF THOUGHT;(2) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OR FINANCIAL BY PROVIDING GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE WITH ACCESS TO EDUCATION; AND(3) THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTER IN THE FORM OF MONEY (OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE) FOR PERSONS AFFECTED.
