“THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO [ARE] THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONG CHILDREN IN THE GAMBIA IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF SCHOOL MEALS FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 18 YEARS ON THEIR BEHALF AND WHICH THEY OTHERWISE COULD NOT AFFORD THROUGH THEIR FAMILIES AND TO DEVELOP BETTER ACCESS TO SUSTAINABLE CLEAN WATER AND RAISE FUNDS TO PROVIDE BETTER EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES AND FOOD SUPPLIES FOR CHILDREN MOST IN NEED ATTENDING SCHOOL.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
