“Interplast UK engages in medical missions serving in developing countries and provides free reconstructive surgery for the underprivileged. This includes treating congenital abnormalities in children, eg cleft lip and/or palate, revision of scars following burns and restoring function in the case of hand injuries. Teams total 5-15 members (surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses).
