“The charity sponsors and oversees promising young scientists undertaking innovative patterns of basic research into the pathogenesis and treatment of the rheumatic diseases. The charity also encourages the education of health care professionals in rheumatology by providing funding for courses and conferences. We have also sponsored young doctors from Kenya to train in rheumatology.
