The main activity is the work of the IFA Board which agrees the strategy to achieve the maximum benefit to our members and the public. Meetings also attended with other Air Safety organisations which include; EASA, RAeS & ICAO airworthiness panel. In addition to the above IFA sponsors the attendance of it's members staff on Airworthiness courses and Scholarships.

We are led by Theravada Thai Forest Tradition monks, living in a simple way and sharing in the generosity we encounter as we visit and stay in many important sites to experience them and listen to Dhamma teachings.

The charity operates in the area of the Irrawaddy delta (in Burma/Myanmar) which was devastated by Cyclone Nargis in 2008. We focus on remote areas not reached by other agencies. Our current focus is on vocational training for various target groups. We also have a rolling programme of maintenance for the schools we built after the cyclone.
