The charity exists to further the following charitable purposes for the benefit of the public: to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment including but not limited to by promoting biological diversity and the creation and preservation of habitats optimised for carbon sequestration. The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage including but not limited to disadvantage arising from being at risk of suffering from sexual exploitation, trafficking, or prostitution; unemployment and/or underemployment; emotional trauma; lack of infrastructure and health services in such ways as the trustees think fit including but not limited to: i) the provision of opportunity for therapeutic work, training, work placements and support to gain employment; ii) the provision of health and medical supplies and equipment; iii) the provision of any necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient; and iv) the provision of strategic planning support to organisations looking to relieve those in need. To promote the education (including social and physical training) of people in such ways as the charity trustees think fit including but not limited to: i) advancing the education of the public in subjects relating to climate change, carbon sequestration and sustainable development (meaning development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs) and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment; ii) promoting the study and research in subjects relating to climate change, carbon sequestration, and sustainable development (meaning development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs) and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large.
