For the purpose of this clause ‘socially excluded’ means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one or more of the following factors: unemployment; financial hardship; youth or old age; ill health (physical or mental); substance abuse or 2 dependency including alcohol and drugs; discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, ethnic origin, religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or gender re assignment; poor educational or skills attainment; relationship and family breakdown; poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards; crime (either as a victim of crime or as an offender rehabilitating into society). (2) the relief and assistance of people in any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies, organisations and/or countries affected. (3) to advance education including, but not limited to, advancing the education of children and young people through the provision of: (a) school buildings and related facilities and equipment; and (b) vocational training. In this clause “young people” means children and young people up to and including the age of 25 years. (4) to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment and in particular, but not limited to, promoting environmental and climate protection projects with the aim of conserving natural resources and advancing the education of the public in connection with the aforesaid. (5) to promote animal welfare by encouraging humane and responsible behaviour towards animals and preventing and relieving maltreatment, cruelty and suffering among animals including, but not limited to, by supporting projects that aim to protect and support wildlife in tourist areas throughout the world and advancing the education of the public in connection with the aforesaid.

(1) to promote for the benefit of children and young people of zimbabwe and southern africa up to the age of 25 (‘the beneficiaries’) the provision and support of facilities in gordon park, matabeleland, zimbabwe (‘gordon park’) for the following purposes:(1.1) the recreation or other leisure time occupation of the beneficiaries who have need of such facilities, in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life;(1.2) developing the skills, capacities and capabilities of the beneficiaries in conservation, local heritage and leadership to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.(2) to advance the education of the beneficiaries in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of gordon park and immediate surrounding areas located in southern zimbabwe.
